bullet Early, Robert W. -  1227 Central St. Leominster, MA 01453 978.534.7948 After leaving Keesler in 1960, I went to Orlando AFB for the "last class" for the Matador Missile Radar Guidance. Then was assigned  to, first Osan AB, Korea and then to Kimpo AB, Korea , a remote from the base itself, laughingly called Kimpo Penal Colony. Although we had met before, I got to know Sgt Dodson who provided money and time assistance in the way of beds and a goat (for milk) to a local orphanage. Also his good buddy, Sgt. Smith helped as well. From Kimpo it was back to Osan for deployment to Ironwood Bomb Plot in 1962, spent about 18 months there, then moved to Charlevoix after a brief stint in Chicago Nike Duty. We settled in Charlevoix, with my first wife, Pat (Early) and our child David. Over the next 7 years, three more were to follow. At Ironwood, I spent most of my time in the MPS-9 when not waxing floors or playing hearts and home study with USAFI courses. In '67 I got tapped for RVN (like everybody else) and separated in Jan 1968. After discharge, I got into some personal issues, but managed to go to school full time to get my Associates Degree in Electronics Engineering, and went to work for a company (Northeast Electronics Corp, which specialized in Telephone Test Equipment ). Between then an now, I remarried in September of 1987 to a French lady, named Marie, and still going strong after 27 years. Eventually, also mostly under the GI Bill, I got my BSEE (Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering) from what is now the University of Massachusetts at Lowell, MA. Over time, I worked for many high-tech companies, and settled down to DEC (Digital Equipment Company), then Microcom Corp, which got bought out by Compaq which got bought out by HP, and finally took a Early Retirement Package deal in 2002.  During that time I did a lot of four season hiking in the White Mountains of NH, and when some disability occurred, I took up sailing, and now that is becoming a past tense. But at least we still have some grandchildren not yet become teenagers. (10/14)
bulletEisenberg, Robert  - After Guam, we were sent to Eglin AFB in Fort Walton Beach. I worked as a Quality Assurance Evaluator for an Operations and Maintenance Contract on the vast land ranges the base has down here. It was pretty interesting work seeing what most people only got to read about. I mean QAing all the munitions testing ranges, laser systems, guided missiles, ECM systems and many more. Seeing that stuff really work was something to see. I retired 2/93 as a SMSgt. I was in-line for CMSgt but the Air Force wanted to send me to take over a site in ICELAND. I told them, "No thanks." Ten years in Bayshore was the last of the cold I ever wanted. So I got out and worked for a contractor to build up what we call the RFS (Radio Frequency Simulator), which is used to simulate the path of a missile in flight and test it against ECM and other targets. It was shear Hell; the project was for $76 million and we had to get on line within a certain time frame so we put in 12 hour days six days a week for the four years I worked on the project. It was bad times for us but it paid the bills. Then in 1/97 I got a job as a civil servant doing what I did as a Blue Suiter. So everything is going pretty good now. Leah got married; Kim is going to college; Bobby is still in school. Yes, I still have the Corvette and I am getting it ready for some car shows. (6/00)

Spent a little over 3 years here and was assigned to Malcolm Grow Medical Center, Andrews AFB MD as the Chief, Clinical Engineering & Medical Equipment Repair Center. We spent 3 years here and was reassigned back to the Command Surgeon's Office where we currently are. Whew! a lot has gone by in these what seem to be a quick 25 years!  I retired as a Major at Langley AFB VA in Oct 02. However, they found it necessary to hire me back as a contractor doing pretty much what I was doing on active duty. God is good!  (1/04)  Oct 11: Still working at Langley AFB VA since retirement in Oct 2002 with a brief 15 month stint with the VA medical system from Jul 09 to Oct 10 when I returned to the base. I spent my last year of active duty in the Black Hills of South Dakota at Bell Fourch SD.  I was back in RBS, boy that was a big change for me, I can’t say I enjoyed it.  So I put in my retirement paperwork and retired in June of 1993.   After having fun for twenty years it was now time to get a real job, so I became a registered nurse in May of 1996. I have three sons, Fritz and Bob were both born in Charlevoix and grew up there with their mother Beth.  Fritz decided to stay in Charlevoix and has made Michigan his home.  He likes to fish and hunt, and I think he still gets out snow boarding.  Bob graduated from Michigan State University, he is now a CPA working in Colorado.  He likes to hunt and ski and manages to get back home for deer season every year.  My youngest son Sammy is now 15 he likes to do everything except his school work. bulletStein, Ronald - E-mail:  I was a "founding member" of Bayshore Bomb Plot. I was assigned there right out of Keesler 6/63 when it was nothing more than a patch of dirt on the hill. We built the site from scratch and I can recall the C-47's coming in to mark the targets. I was a MPS-9/OA-215 operator and later did duty as a controller.  I remember George Daylong, Nick Galbraith, Sgt. Huff, Dick Mays, Esme's restaurant south of town, and, of course, Bud's Bar.  I spent time on the RBS Express in Missouri and Iowa and 3 months TDY in Detroit acting as a controller at the Nike sites around the city when B-52's were running against them. I fondly recall the many B-58 runs IP inbound from Chicago when the MPS-39 couldn't acquire the A/C and the cry "9, do you have him?", went out over the intercom. I left 3/65 for reassignment to Berlin, Germany in the ATC Center running back-up tracking radar in the Tasker section. After my discharge in 1966, I returned to Philadelphia with my wife (whom I met in Charlevoix) and presently work in sales in the computer industry. (03/04)

bulletWolfley, Todd - 72 North 400 West, Blackfoot ID 83221; Phone: 208-785-4613; E-mail:  Upon separation from USAF, Det 6, Bayshore MI, I loaded the family up and headed to Homestead IA. There, I became an employee of the Amana Society Farms. Some of you may remember Gary Davis (computer troop), well, he worked for the Society and helped me get on the payroll. Iowa was a dandy place to practice my growing problem with alcohol. We lived down the street from the winery and I received regular perks for keeping the parking lot cleared of snow in the winter or mowing a path to the wild elderberry patch in the summer. While in Homestead, Mike Thompson, Jerome Harris, Dee Butler and Jean Parler stopped in and visited us. In '83, my beloved mother fell ill to cancer and we decided to move to Idaho so the family could be with Mom in her final days.  Mom died soon after we moved to Blackfoot ID and we started anew. By this time, the family had grown to: daughter Brem, son Tony and son Jimmy. Our fourth child, Samantha, was born in '85. Soon after Sam's birth, Dtim let me know  in no uncertain terms that she had had a butt full of my drinking and I made what she might have considered another useless promise to never drink alcohol again. July 4th, 2000 marked the anniversary of my 15th year of alcohol-free living!  When I quit drinking, Budweiser ads had a team of Clydesdales in them.  Soon after, they had to go to a little black and white dog.  Now, I see they have recovered enough to afford some animated frogs and lizards!! Their loss, my gain!
